2025 Mazda CX-90 PHEV

All Mazda CX-90 PHEV SUVs are powered by a e-SKYACTIV®-PHEV 2.5-liter engine combined with an electric motor with a 17.8kWh battery. This produces up to 323 horsepower. The CX-90 PHEV can be driven using all-electric power or a combination of gas and electric power. It gets an EPA-estimated 25 mpg/combined and 56 mpge/combined. The driving range is an EPA-estimated 26 miles with electric-only power and 490 miles for the total driving range.

With Mazda Connected Services through the MyMazda app, you can check your Mazda CX-90 PHEV’s charge level and estimated driving range and find nearby charging stations. The app also provides remote start capability. Access to Mazda Connected Services is complimentary for 1 year. 

The battery is recharged through regenerative braking or by plugging it into a Level 1 or Level 2 charger. With a Level 2 charger, this PHEV SUV reaches 80% charge in 1.5 hours. With a Level 1 charger, it reaches 80% in 6 hours and 40 minutes.

All trim levels of this three row SUV feature standard  i-ACTIV AWD® (all-wheel drive) for the right amount of traction on every road surface. All trims also feature Mi-Drive, which allows you to choose between Sport, EV, and Off-Road driving modes. In EV mode, the Mazda CX-90 PHEV uses only electric power for as long as possible.

This Mazda SUV also helps improve steering and cornering with kinematic posture control technology.

When properly equipped the Mazda CX-90 PHEV can tow up to 3,500 pounds. The Towing mode on the two higher trims assists with stability when driving with added weight.

The Mazda CX-90 PHEV is a three row SUV that seats up to seven or eight passengers, depending on which trim level you choose. Everyone rides comfortably on leather-trimmed or Nappa leather-trimmed seats, and all trim levels have heated front seats for total comfort during cold-weather months.

The interior keeps you connected and entertained with the Mazda Connect™ infotainment system, USB-C outlets and 12V outlet, Bluetooth connectivity, and steering wheel-mounted audio, phone, and cruise controls.

Mazda CX-90 PHEV offers an available 360° view monitor to help you see directly in front and next to the vehicle, which are typically obstructed. These views appear on the center display. Another available convenience feature is active driving display for improved visibility to important information.

With a three-person third row, the Mazda CX-90 PHEV cabin provides 14.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, 40, cubic feet behind the second row, and 74.2 cubic feet behind the third row. With a two-person third row, there’s 15.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, 40.1 cubic feet behind the second row, and 75.2 cubic feet behind the third row.
