What’s the Towing Capacity of Each RAM Truck?

RAM 1500 RHO Towing Capacity
The RAM 1500 RHO is a new trim level for 2025. It replaces the RAM 1500 TRX trim. It runs on the high-output 3.0-liter I-6 hurricane engine. This trim delivers more horsepower per dollar than any other off-road premium full-size truck.
2024 RAM 1500 TRX Final Edition Towing Capacity
The RAM 1500 TRX trim level will be replaced with the RHO. This trim still has limited availability. It runs on a 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI® V8 engine with a high-torque-capacity TorqueFlite® eight-speed automatic transmission.
RAM 1500 Classic Towing Capacity
The 2024 RAM 1500 Classic starts at $38,705 MSRP. It’s available in two trims and is equipped with the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine or the available 5.7-liter V8 engine. The RAM 1500 towing capacity depends on which engine is installed.
RAM 2500 Towing Capacity
The 2024 RAM 2500 starts at $45,250 MSRP and is available in seven trim levels. This RAM truck runs on a standard 6.4L HEMI® V8 engine, or there’s an available 6.7L Cummins® Turbo Diesel I6 engine. The RAM 2500 towing capacity depends on which engine you choose.
RAM 3500 Towing Capacity
The 2024 RAM 3500 starts at $87,615 MSRP and is available in five trim levels. The 6.4L HEMI® V8 engine is standard on this RAM track, and there are two available 6.7-liter Cummins® I-6 engines to choose from. The RAM 3500 towing capacity varies between the engine options.
