Car and Driver’s list of the Best Mid-Size 2-Row SUVs includes the 2026 Mazda CX-70, 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the 2026 Jeep Wrangler.
The publication ranks these midsize SUVs based on approximately 200 key aspects, including comfort, performance, cargo space, handling, and fuel efficiency.
2026 Mazda CX-70: The Mazda CX-70 delivers solid power and handling and has a “handsome inside and out”. Car and Driver says this Mazda SUV “punches above its weight in terms of power, agility, and interior fit-and-finish”.
2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee: “The Grand Cherokee combines mega off-road capability, everyday SUV practicality, and upscale appointments in a ruggedly handsome package.” Car and Driver also notes that this Jeep SUV offers a broad lineup or trim levels at various price ranges and has “attractive Jeep-appropriate looks”.
